EXPERIENCE, BROUGHT HOME

More than a decade
in the craft.

I want to walk out of a finished home knowing I’ve done work I’m proud to put my name behind. That’s the standard I bring to Formidable Flooring.

I started at BC Hardwood in my teens, working alongside experienced hardwood flooring installers and refinishers. Each had their own approach. Learning from different tradespeople taught me to compare methods, understand why certain techniques produced better results and build the strongest of those lessons into my own work.

I later founded Ewusie Floors, growing from a hands-on installer into a business owner managing multiple crews. Our projects included the Southlands home featured on Jillian Harris and the Port of Vancouver offices at Canada Place. Running those jobs taught me how much good craftsmanship depends on clear planning and a team that works well together.

My career then took me into construction technology as Director of Construction at ShapeMeasure. I worked with engineers on systems for custom stair measurement and production, bringing practical installation experience into the development process.

I played college baseball in Arizona and competed at the Junior College World Series. The drive to keep improving has stayed with me. So has the responsibility to prepare properly, hold myself to a high standard and be someone my team can count on.
